Tomorrow will be Kinder.

Today I sat before my son's surgery and held him, 

we rocked back and forth, 

and back and forth,

A lullaby for him, 

I sang....

Tomorrow will be kinder, 

Its true Ive seen it before, 

a brighter day is coming your way, 

and tomorrow will be kinder.

And as I sang the words I knew it to be true...

God will protect my lil' man, this is his plan, he knew

this path was going to happen before I was even pregnant,

he knew this was our life's journey, that we were going to face these trials, 

have our faith tested. 

He knew we would sometimes question, and he knew that through this we will find our faith, 

and hold on to it dearly. 

He knew we would lean on him through the bad, and 

praise him for the good. 

And I know Blake was born for a greater purpose.

That for all the downs in life, God will bless us twicefold with blessings,

and we hold close to HIS promise that tomorrow will be kinder.

Come back to the place of safety, all prisoners of hope! and I promise that on this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.

Blake after surgery. 

Blake's eye surgery went well!  He still has some redness and his eyes are a little puffy- but he tolerated it GREAT and he is snoozing away! They will recheck his eyes on Tuesday of next week, we pray for continued progress!
